These Apple Pie & Pumpkin Pie Smoothies are proof that smoothie season doesn't have to end when fall comes around!

Ingredients
  

Apple Pie Smoothie
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • ¼ cup oats
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon ground
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 heaping cup ice cubes
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree canned
  • ¼ cup oats
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice recipe in notes
  • 1 heaping cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Add smoothie ingredients to blender. Blend well, about 20 seconds.
  2. Pour into serving cups. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon, if desired. Each smoothie recipe will make about 2 cups.

Notes

Pumpkin pie spice can be found premade in the grocery store, but it is so easy to make your own. 
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
Mix well before measuring. This recipe makes just over 1 ½ teaspoons, which will be enough for 1 batch of pumpkin pie smoothies with some extra to sprinkle on top.
