  • ½ tbsp. orange zest
  • 2-3 tbsp. orange juice

Method

Cranberry Cookies
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine sugars, butter, sour cream, vanilla & eggs. Beat well for 2 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda & baking powder. Gradually add to the wet ingredients. Gently fold in chopped cranberries.
  4. Drop by tablespoon-full scoops onto a parchment lined baking sheet at least 2 inches apart. Bake 11-13 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
  5. Remove cookies for the oven and allow to sit for 2 minutes before moving to a wire rack to finish cooling. Cool completely before icing.
Orange Icing
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine all icing ingredients. Start with 2 Tbsp. orange juice and gradually add more until icing reaches desired consistency.
  2. Spread a little icing on top of each cookie. Store cookies in an airtight container.
