Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8x8 baking pan.
In a bowl combine oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
2 cups old-fashioned oats, 1 tsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. salt, 1 tsp. cinnamon
Add milk, syrup, butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
2 cups milk, ⅓ cup real maple syrup, ¼ cup butter, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Gently fold in 1 cup of blackberries. Pour batter into greased pan. Sprinkle top with remaining berries.

Bake for 40-45 minutes until the center is set and top is lightly golden. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
