Baked French Toast Sticks

Thick sliced bread dipped in a sweet cinnamon custard and baked in the oven. Served with your favorite maple syrup for dipping, these Baked French Toast Sticks are freezer-friendly and make a quick & easy breakfast option!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick cut white bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice each bread slice into 3 strips (the long way).
  3. In a pie pan or 8x8 baking pan, whisk eggs. Add milk, sugar, cinnamon & vanilla. Mix until well combined.
  4. Dip each bread strip into the custard and allow excess to drip off. Place on baking sheet, making sure the sticks do not touch.
  5. Bake French Toast Sticks for 15 minutes. Flip and cook 10-12 minutes longer until golden brown on all sides. Serve with your favorite maple syrup.
