Homemade Granola

This granola is loaded with healthy ingredients and natural sugars making it the perfect breakfast or snack choice!

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup shredded coconut flakes
  • ½ cup chopped almonds
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • ½ cup shelled sunflower seeds unsalted
  • ½ cup wheat bran
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup vegetable or canola oil
  • ½ cup dried apricots chopped
  • ½ cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine oats, coconut, almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds & wheat germ.
  • In a small bowl whisk together honey and oil. Add to oat mixture and mix well.
  • Spread out onto large baking sheet. Bake 30-35 until light golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and stir in dried apricots & raisins. Continue to stir occasionally to prevent lumping. When cool, store in airtight container, jar or plastic bag.
