Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy

- 2 tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. button mushrooms sliced
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup half & half
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- 6-8 ½ in. bone-in pork chops
Mushroom Gravy
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add sliced mushrooms and cook 4-5 minutes until mushrooms are nicely browned.
Sprinkle in flour and stir to coat mushrooms. Cook for 1 minute.
Stir in chicken broth, half & half and spices. Bring to simmer and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.
Pork Chops
Season pork chops with salt & pepper.
In another large skillet, heat 2 tbsp. olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and brown about 2 minutes on each side. Place browned pork chops in 9x13 baking dish.
Pour mushroom gravy over pork chops. Cover with foil and bake 30-35 minutes until meat thermometer registers pork at least 145°.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or wide egg noodles along with a vegetable for a nice, hearty meal
