Baked French Toast Sticks

Thick sliced bread dipped in a sweet cinnamon custard and baked in the oven. Served with your favorite maple syrup for dipping, these Baked French Toast Sticks are freezer-friendly and make a quick & easy breakfast option!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick cut white bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tbsp. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice each bread slice into 3 strips (the long way).
  • In a pie pan or 8x8 baking pan, whisk eggs. Add milk, sugar, cinnamon & vanilla. Mix until well combined.
  • Dip each bread strip into the custard and allow excess to drip off. Place on baking sheet, making sure the sticks do not touch.
  • Bake French Toast Sticks for 15 minutes. Flip and cook 10-12 minutes longer until golden brown on all sides. Serve with your favorite maple syrup.
